Suggestions for Complementary Treatments
Stacey has been feeling very good about the quality of care she is getting, so she is not on the lookout for Alternative treatments (anything that would be used instead of standard treatments.) However, we’re always up for Complementary treatments (those used in addition, to complement standard treatments.)
If you have a suggestion for any supportive treatments that you’d like Stacey to know about, please post it as a comment here. Links to additional information are very much appreciated.
Dear Stacey, Michael and Deb!
Please know that John and I are thinking about you all daily!!
Deb, this is a wonderful site! I am glad to know that Stacey is likely a candidate for hormone therapy! These treatments can be very sucessful. I have another friend who did well with this additional treatment. She is breast concer free now for 11 years!
I know you are in good hands in Boston — a great medical community. One thing that can be helpful after chemo and radiation is acupuncture for pain, fatigue, etc. I had uterine cancer and the big surgery, hormone therapy, etc. Acupuncture helped me gain energy and recover from treatments faster. You might look into this and discuss when to do acupuncture.
I’ll keep checking the site!
